Design Project 2: Creativity & Innovation

Series: Society and Culture
Reference Artist: Banksy
Art Movement: Street art

Introduction
I choose this series because I thought that our society and life style is something we should be concern about.
I mean, you see problems occurring everywhere. Poverty, hunger, bully, discrimination. All these problems are not only changing the way our society works, but also the way that we see others. How we are willing to close an eye while another person suffers. I find this very disturbing so I wanted to create certain artwork to open the eyes of the public. Just like that Banksy did. This isn't really targeted to any specific audiences but I feel it is something that needs to be lay out in the open for people to realise.

Problem Statement
The reason I want to create such art is because I feel that these problems are not being address enough by the public. We see it happening yet there is no changes done. Even there is, it is not sufficient to remove it. Problems such as poverty, hunger, discrimination, racism are all obvious problems happening all around us yet there is practically no action taken to stop it. We may disagree to it but not doing anything about it does not make things any better. The reasons of why each artwork is created will be briefly explained later on while we go through the artwork.

Purpose of Content
My main objective of creating such artwork of course is to raise an awareness of these things that are happening around us yet still slipping by our eyes. Each artwork have a different purpose and will be explain as we go through the artwork.
